Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa says it is now following the global model of supporting privateer teams and series for the 2016 season. “Petrol flows through our veins, and motorsport remains an important and successful proving ground for our products,” said Tracey Delate, Ford’s General Marketing Manager. “Motor racing is also an integral component of our exciting Ford Performance brand.
“However, we are realigning our focus by moving away from factory teams. DEARBORN, Mich., March 7, 2016 – Ford Motor Company was today named a 2016 World’s Most Ethical Company for the seventh consecutive year by the Ethisphere Institute, a global leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices.
Ford is the only automaker to earn Ethisphere Institute’s award. The World’s Most Ethical Companies are assessed on a framework developed by the Institute. Honorees are given top ratings in five categories – ethics and compliance, corporate citizenship and responsibilities, culture of ethics, governance and leadership, and reputation.
